  • Welcome to the Online Component of the Scientific Writing and Authorship Skills Workshop

Greetings to you, thank you for enrolling for the Scientific Writing and Authorship Skills Workshop. Hope you found the face to face component of the course enriching. This online course will look at the databases that you can use to search for scientific literature when writing your publications and also the correct way of referencing cited literature. The course is broken down into 6 modules and each module is accompanied by an activity. The course facilitators will be on standby to help you with successful completion of the activities. The course will be left open for a period of one week 9 - 16 June to allow participants sufficient time to go through all the modules and submit the activities. Please note that for successful completion of AGORA and TEEAL exercises participants need to access the TEEAL and AGORA databases. Ask your institution Librarian for the programs' log-ins. If your institution is not subscribing to these resources get in touch with the Course Administrators and learn how your institutions can subscribe to the resources.
